Could it be one of our most esteemed (I think you mean infamous) posters?" Marc, it was suppose to be _anonymous_. I was just blowing off some steam to Ric. I didn't think the letter would be published. Since I've been whining about the whole thing for so long I guess it wasn't hard to figure out it was me. Anyway, Spartacus arrived yesterday afternoon. As I expected, all my frustration with placing the order vanished the minute Spartacus arrived. All hail Spartacus... This sculpture is everything I had imagined it would be and much more. The attention to detail is mind boggling. There are quite a few little cool things that were never mentioned in magazine reviews. It looks like Apple spent a fortune creating applications and QuickTime movies that introduce users to the Spartacus. They really should put one of these in every CompUSA...next to a G3 playing a QT of the "snail ad". Knowing what I know now, I'd easily pay a couple thousand more for it. Imagine withdrawing money from the bank and the teller miscounted and gave you an extra $100 bill...well, that's what I feel like right now. This is the best investment I have ever made. As I understand it, only 10,000 Spartacus were produced. I'd like to write a short piece about Spartacus and post some pictures but it looks like I won't be able to do that anytime soon. I'm preparing for a 2 week trip to Taiwan where I'll be visiting my parents. It's 2:30am PST. I'm going to play around with the new toy and take a short nap before the market opens.
