Piedpiper, thanks for your response, it seemed genuine and from someone in and around Aurora. On that basis I find your comments valuable. ADSL/DMT seems to be the perennial carrot in front of the nose. Everyone wants it, they wanted it yesterday, and still we are waiting for it. It must be frustrating to be a company (Westell) that is betting on being a major provider of this product, but is dependent on Motorola, TI or LU for actual implementation. It kind of puts you in a holding pattern. Working in such an environment must also be somewhat like treading water. The decrease in Westell's stock price over the last 2 years kind of says it all. That is my perhaps naive impression of Westell today. Does it have any merit?
The important question for me, however, is "How will Westell do when Motorola, TI and LU all have their fabrications available?" Will Westell be the company RBOCs turn to for DMT? My belief is that Westell stands to do well at that point and resurge. What is your perception? Do you think they are too far gone?

<<I was surprised that there was no press release on the trial DSL shipment that just occurred. Maybe they will in the near future, but they could have prevented that last break in the stock's short-term outlook with the press release. >>

Sounds encouraging to me. Thanks for the information. Can you explain how you know about it?
Michael
