I know everybody is concerned mostly with this first tournament coming up at end of March out in Arizona but I thought I would share some insight on a possible tournament on Long Island in August. If ACCY gets a tournament going on Long Island in August this co will gain even more recognition and lots more sponsor money. As someone who has grown up on the Island and plays lots of golf, I can say first-hand that the Long Island is starving for a tournament such as the type being offered by ACCY. Golf is super hot on Long Island right now as they can't build enough courses for people and waits to play are outrageous. One of the reasons why the US OPEN is coming to Bethpage State Park in a few years. Right now the only real well known tournament on the Island is the annual Northville Classic. As a result there is a great market opportunity for another annual tourney on Long Island. Probably the reason why Dave Marr is gunning for Long Island as second site for a tourney. This guy knows his stuff. If ACCY does a good job of promoting a tourney on L.I. people will come out in droves along with the sponsors!!! I guarantee it!!
