I don't share your dispair over the future of capitalism. Why? Rockfeeler Standard Oil was broken up into smaller companies, share holders benefited in the long term. Citites Services was trust busted twice, yet share holders and consumers benefited. AT&T was busted up and it benefited the shareholders and consumers. IBM always has been under a cloud, which resulted in the creation known as the Internet, cloned PC and industry giants such as MSFT and Intel.

In all cases of the government using the anti trust laws at it's disposal, only long term benefit occurred. Can you name one that failed? The strongest attack did not come from a Democrat, but a Republician; Orin Hatch. The control of information is not a moot subject. Information is power and that power under the dominance of one isn't healthy for the US in terms of price and balance.

Did you cry for Standard Oil, IBM or AT&T? On the last they were the most despise corporate entity of my youth. What makes you think that MSFT is that popular? Becuase it is dominant or becasue you have little choice. No, I'm not worried at all.
