Anyone here ever run relative regression analysis for the TRIN and SPX to see if there is any correlation, or extreme non-correlation, prior to market selloffs?

I had a dream about this last night, so I came in and ran 32 reports for 'decent-sized' selloffs in the last 4 years. Came up with some some consistent read outs (when comparing the data for slope, intercewpt, and R2), but I'm not convinced that ther're indicative measures for the selloffs...yet. I guess I need to brush up on my statistics and regressions analysis.

Call me cooked, but I had to check it out.
Wouldn't be there first thoery I tested then dumped in the trash, that's for sure!

New SPX target...1015. We should have trouble in the upper 1020s today though IF we selloff. So far the futures are telling us UP.
