I called the company today, talked to Michelle, who must be filling in for Julie Stangl. She says no IPO, "This is what I've been told," she said. Level 3 Web site: "Once the separation occurs, Class D shares will be exchanged for equity in the independent Level 3 Communications." Why not split, get the heck off the Bulletin Board and do an IPO with independent Level 3? Sounds good to me, but maybe that's why I'm an autoworker and not the chairman of the board. Comments....
