Thomas, your post is implied in my statements of " truck-loads of communication, voice-video-data moving around ". The hope is that phones and computers are going to be extremely cheap ( sorry Motorola ), so that all ? 5 bill people in the world will be busily chatting away all the time ( it's already happening in Tokyo were everybody is walking around with a phone glued to their ear ). [ True ] Telecom deregulation will only help NN further by increasing the number of entrepreneurial phone and ISP operators that need to be connected to the back bone with efficient time/cost utilization, NN's forte.Ulimately somebody could invent a wireless phone-computer that you can just crank on like that $10? radio somebody invented in SAfrica? that doesn't need batteries. Though NNs wireless system ( like the one they are experimenting with, with NTT in downtown ?Yokohama, you can have a whole lot of data moving around, my opinion, gg
