With respect to your question "Do I have to have all the symbols in my database and on my drive to do this. Is there a way to do a scan on data that is only on the Q+ base and not on my machine? Hope that's clear enough." I am not quite certain what you mean by this question. But base on my best guess the answer is no. You can only scan the data stored in the Quotes Plus database that is stored on the hard disk in your computer. I was glad to hear you were able to successfully download the updates for the demo version. However, I apologize for giving you bad information about not being able to download updates for the demo version of Quotes Plus by phone.
