I agree Robert, Stirrup Creek is not a promo stock, but it may soon begin to act like one. It seems a number of interesting developments have taken place recently that may begin to move the stock.
Ostensibly, SGU's share price has been a poor performer relative to the company's exploration activities. For obvious reasons, therefore, they released their former Investment Relations person. In his place, they have brought in two groups to support the stock. The first is the same the group that took the $300,000 private placement a few weeks ago--they have said they will also be supporting the stock in the market. I have also been told a second ("strong") group has also said they will be providing both promotional and financial support to the stock. The results from both groups seems a little overdue, but if they follow through with their original plans, Stirrup Creek should begin to move.
On another note, insiders still hold the majority of the stock. They have been buyers at well over a dollar, so they seem to have a lot of confidence and obviously real incentive to see much higher prices. Patient investors can probably take comfort that volumes need to be much higher before insiders can sell any meaningful number of shares; thus, the incentive endures.
One final note on the Victorine program. Best I can surmise is that the results are mixed, i.e. "some good holes". Any other comments?
