Something that has always bothered me about comparing public schools with Catholic ones is that the latter is subsidized by the church i.e., the nuns get room and board and live what I assume is an austere life style. And Catholics get a discount.
I attended a catholic school for a while and that was the case. On the other hand a private school costs an harm and a leg and is only available o the upper end of the class structure I went to one of those too.
I also went to a public school and of course that's were I went astray

How do you reconcile the money vrs education argument with that?
