George Tromp: Hammerdown is an asset, has value and will go to production.Visit Majorgeneral.com. 400,000 tons plus of half oz. material,mining cost under $170 per oz. and 95% recovery.MGJ directors may have missed a chance to go when I was pres. but thats no reason to give it away now. Will the ore be custom milled,blended, will MGJ build a mill and when? Management and outside consultants are working on solution. At Voisey's Bay south Donner will speak at PDAC should soon have 98 budget and should start drills by May. Obviously no ovoid found by 1997 drilling but there should have been some followup. MGJ didnt vend prop. into Fjordland. Samples collected for diamonds take a long long time to analyse,shortage of well enough trained tecnicians.Labs do screw up and as a result expl. programs and land tenure decisions in Greenland with a short expl. season get fouled up. MGJ is still active in Greenland. My shareholdings on file with BC Sec Comm. Seems to me my total sh. holdings represent a pretty good commitment to MGJ. We need a significant discovery. Co. does 5 to 8 deals a year which gives us opportunity to enhance value. wjc
