Last year (Sep, Oct?) the stock ran up and stayed in the low to mid twenties. No news. I think a lot of new short interest came on board expecting "imminent collapse". The impatient ones are getting squeezed. That much is probably in the "Well, Duh" file. I am intrigued by all this volume - especially with "the usual suspects" backing up the Short Bed truck in the wake of the sales guy's apparent defection. Is there that much weak short interest that's squeezable? If yes, expect Regular Programming to resume. If no - well then. Somebody's buying. This suggests that there's real news afoot. Enough to generate millions of shares of interest, even yesterday when techs could do no right. My big Q: why hasn't a version of the long story surfaced here? Deep and Jas might know. And just as likely, they ain't talkin because there are strong disincentives on this board to counting your chickens before they're well and truly hatched. Alex M, Short&Shaky
