Indeed Microsoft recently acquired WEBTV and Hotmail. You can bet that they are now making significant investments and improvements in these services. Soon the onslaught of new services will occur and YAHOO's dominance will fade. YAHOO's resources are stretched very thin, they have diluted their share value considerably already, they increasing rely on high price labor (content makers), and they just do not have the deep pockets of the likes of Microsoft. I see a Netscape like breakdown in the near future. Today there is the perception that it is the leader in a hot field, tomorrow it may be number 2 and share value, earnings etc will all of sudden matter.
