Okay, OC...

I "started" (in truth, conveyed is
the exact word) the Dell rumor on the Yahoo thread.

I posted it with all sorts of cyber-signage
indicating that it was a RUMOR. Only a RUMOR.

The rumor did not come from stock-savvy folks.
It came from the online media world... where
I sort of live.

It has a certain plausibility: DELL becoming
an exclusive channel partner for SEEK. Further,
DELL could drive a very serious bargain...demanding
a revenue sharing arrangement. Further, DELL
specializes in business-to-business selling...
and SEEK is very big inside the office. Further,
SEEK announced a little spin-off (funded by
Soros' investment group) that will be pushing
out business intelligence. (Who knows? Maybe
DELL might play there, too.)

But, big point, this, as posted on the Yahoo
thread is A FLAGRANT RUMOR. I don't usually have
much truck with such things. And I got out of
SEEK at 17 1/2 this week...because I wanted to
take my 75% profit and I had an exit price clearly
marked. I got this rumor at a meeting the day
after I sold. Yes, AFTER I sold.

So, now, you've heard the rumor. You can be
unimpressed... which is I think a strong play.
RUMORS are just that... RUMORS.
But, it didn't come from somebody who's trying
to move the stock. It came from online media
reps who compete with SEEK. And I repeated
it.

Best Regards To All Current and Even Former
SEEK investors,
