pied--

ok, #1:
hiring, quitting firing...i dont know. i dont even know if you live where you say you live. i only said either you had inside information or you didnt. unfortunately i dont knwo which.

#2:
my analyst comment was referencing something you posted, not you personally. i believe you were pasting in an analyst comment.i wasnt calling you a moron.i think you are far from a moron.

#3:as for seamens...who knows. if we get it you are right. it really is a moot point at present. however, the fact remains, irrespective of what a nice guy he is, that he made comments that should not have been made. inexperience is no excuse on this count. people who run public companies should know better.

#4:no, i dont work for WSTL, and i do understand that the consumer end isnt where the money is. you missunderstood my point, which was that few if any are going to be able to beat WSTL on pricing. how is PAIR makign their chips? are they running a fab? if that is the case, WSTL will easily be able to price them out of the market.

yes, the systems are more complex than the standard personal computer, but the model is the same.

#5 sorry, i should have clarified more. of course they are going to have R&D expenses, even DELL has those. but they are related more to designing the entire system than the ship. PAIR and ALA not only have to design the system, they have to design the logic. we dont have to do that, at least not to the extent our competitors do.

no, i am not mad, and you havent insulted me. what you need to understand is that i may very well be completely wrong. that is why we have this resource. this is the way i see the industry developing and the reasons why i am in WSTL.

good luck to all,
trey
