I just talked to Mr Alan Markow (the person responsible for all press releases of VLSI). He did not know anything about the press release on the wire. He assured me that Mr. Rich Beyer is the president of VLSI and there is absolutely no plan of (or for) him to leave the company. When I asked him that the excuse he is offering that he knew nothing on that press release is worse than the news itself, he responded that he will find out more about this press release and contact me later. In summary, I got the impression that the press release may be a fake or assembled by someone else other than VLSI.
