Thread Posters: IMO some of you are being a trifle harsh with Mr. DeNoble. You know he's new on the job, because he's just completed his first trip to the mill, and he forgot the ore pile is 500,000 tons, not 250K.
His post to Ed clarified that the dore they are sending to AuRIC is not the same dore Russ Twiford talked about earlier. Fair enough. The company certainly has the right to alter processes in order to achieve profitibility and maximization of value to the shareholders.
But it is unfair to dump prior lapses of communication on his doorstep. Afterall, from every indication I have, Dick Jensen realized the need for an in-house, knowledgeable, experinced PR person, and someone who could take the load off his shoulders. Dennis was chosen, and I'm sure he will do the job we all want to see. But let's give him a little breathing space here. Recriminatory comments focusing on the time prior to his tenure are not helpful and will only create a breakdown in communications between the company and this thread, and will serve no purpose. Judge Dennis for what he does, not what was done before.
None of this is meant to be critical of anyone. I am just stating my opinion of the situation as it has unfolded overnight.
On a more positive note. I too am extremely anxious regarding the results from AuRIC. Regardless of where they come in, the important thing it seems to me is whether we can produce at a profit (I hope), or whether more R&D will need to be done either by GPGI or the refinery (Hope not!!!).
I think this waiting is putting us all in need of a large stress tab.
Regards to all --
