This puzzles me too. INTC buying S3 just doesn't make sense. SIII
has seen some similar jumps on emerging news. Maybe they got a patent
deal with INTC and will be sampling their new chip soon, or someone
other than Intel is interested in buying them. But that's just
speculation.
