If MDCO rose because of a fundamental reassesment of Gulf drilling, why were they the only ones to benefit? Of course this is hogwosh, they rose over buyout speculation pure and simple. If there are no buyout rumors or activity over the weekend, it will makeup for lost time and lose the 8% it gained today, plus the 2% all the other shallow drillers lost today (plus whatever fall we are in store for on Monday). So, if the rumors don't come through, we're talkin down more than 10% Monday. I sold 1/2 my shares today (for close to the low of the day of course).
