OT Freeus, I only buy stocks I expect will go up. VBG Over the four years I have been investing on my own I am batting about .500. Getting out of losers quick has kept my losses in check. I have had losses about 1/3 the size of my gains over those four years and averaged 25 to 30% net gains per year. On a couple occasions a stock I like has taken a heavy hit and I averaged down and did well when it came back. The obvious example is Dell which I bought at 100 last Oct. just before it slid to the seventies where I bought more.
