I just hold a small position now but sold most around $11(loss) and $12(profit) last year when MFE said they were going to lose money for the next 2 Qs. Also a small position for my Mom since I figured it had LT potential. :-(

>>>I sincerely hope you didn't drop out the other day. It's at 7.60 right now. I've enjoyed all your posts and shared your frustration,<<<

" With the new CRTC policy regarding distinctively Canadian programming. MFE says they are going to take a $6.5M BOMB on its production plans. Beasties budgeted at $8M now faces a $2M financing
shortfall just before the start of production on the next 13 episodes.

MFE is saying their Whole corporate existence is now at risk because
of the financial and legal obligations based on commitments to these
projects that previous qualified for funding that are now seriously
under financed.

MFE's total committed production activities for its 1998-1999 year face a $6.5M blow."

So I don't really know what to think now. It sounds like they had
just eniough funds for the years production and the NEW $6.5M shortfall will eat into any profits when the new shows air and they will not be able to fund production of new shows.

Where is D.E Shetland with the inside scoop?
