Winstar (WCII) has the largest block of FCC granted licenses in the
38 GHz band covering 28 of the top 30 metropolitan service areas in the
U.S.
WCII addresses a market of nearly $10 bill. incl. local loop bypass,
private networks, PCS/cellular cell site interconnection, and in the
future interactive broadband video services.
deregulation opens a $30 bil opportunity in offerring local switched
services.
-Field trials with major interexchange carriers (ICX) and competitive
access providers (CAPs) are proving that the millimeter radio
technology achieves the quality of fiber services.

The $14,000 figure comes from my source at the fund co. that recommended
the stock to me. They bought at $13.
