Tom:

We could probably RC drill to about 200 or even 250 meters with our rig. Where it gets tricky are a) at the water table, which causes problems with RC drilling (imagine a flow of water through small rock chips, it becomes a sludge and can cost you the hammer and pipe if you're unlucky); b) in areas where the rock is loose (one self-explanatory term is "caving", which causes problems; and, c) there are certain angles which are tough on drill and crew, such as 45 degrees.

The plan is to put down 50-plus shallow RC holes on Lejano, averaging 30 to 40 meters each. We very much want to be able to test deeper. Is it possible to reach the sulfide with our drill? Yes. However, the "problems" noted above are the biggest barriers, rather than the depth. We have some ideas in the hopper which I may be able to discuss later.
