Greg, this whole PC mess is due to Compaq. Monday it was reduced earnings, Wednesday Compaq "stuffing" hurt Intel and today we find out that Compaq is going to be flat. -------------------------------------------------------------- This is a response to an E-mail I sent Dell before they went public on CNN. I received this today. Your memo was forwarded to me for resolution. Dell's CFO, Tom Meredith held a telephone conference call with the lead coverage analyst from Salomon Smith Barney yesterday afternoon. The message to Wall Street regarding our position and our outlook was delivered in that call. With respect to our next regularly scheduled analyst meeting, we are planning on a full set of management presentations in New York in early April.
