Yep, with Compaq warning, how much longer could it take to bring this market down. Think I might buy some OEX, SPX or DJX puts along with my Novell order Monday morning. I typically sell puts when selected stocks are at the bottom of a range...been a tough month. Haven't bought options in some time, but think I'm gonna stick my neck out if this market doesn't tank out of the gate Monday. I don't think the upcoming earnings season will even begin to support this market, people will figure this out after enough bellweather earnings warnings. Doesn't bode well for Novell in that this next quarter ought to be their toughest quarter ever, assuming there's any truth to the boom that Netware 5 will bring to sales. I wonder when they booked the revenue on the big overseas school sale posted on the board a few days ago. sf sf
