After CPQ what's left but MSFT

Want to see the house brought down?

MSFT said earlier this year that they expected a 300 mil shortfall in Japan, if my aged memory serves me well. Now with Intel, whose ass was saved last quarter by Europe, now reporting lower across the board and now CPQ, all it will take is MSFT to round it out. My understanding is that very little is being bought in Japan at present and I expect reductions in capital spending in Japan by corporations there based upon poor earnings to be reported for the past six months at the end of March. If you take substantially lower earnings from Japan, add in lower sequential from Europe and flat in the US, then its seems to me you can get an MSFT pre-announce.

This market is getting to end of its rope. The Dow is at 22 times earnings.
