Janybird,

I agree with you and Brice's assessment that the use of the bilirubin monitor will be more than previously estimated based on the current invasive monitoring. In the field of medicine, as tests and procedures become less invasive, the numbers done become greater. Rightly or wrongly, laparoscopic cholecystectomy have increased the number of gallbladders removed since the introduction of a less invasive and less painful method for removing gallbladders. Likewise, several years ago, a new monitor device for a patient's blood oxygen level similar to CCSI's device for measuring bilirubin was developed. Well, I can guarantee that the number of people who have oxygen level determined by this noninvasive method is at least 100 fold greater than the number of people who had their blood drawn to determine their oxygen level. At least 100 fold and I am not exaggerating. So, take it for it's worth. If a noninvasive and cheap method of determining bilirubin becomes available, which mother or father out there would not want this study done as a baseline. An abnormally elevated bilirubin level can cause brain damage in infants. This elevated bilirubin can be easily treated by phototherapy. Now, all the naysayers out there can tell me if they'd like to suggest that there won't be a HUGE market for this device.

This brief essay doesn't even take into account the other aspects of CCSI's technology.

As an aside, you are correct, attacking others here is pointless and I apologize. David S, I disagree with you, but attacking you and others who question this product or others who may be shorting this stock is pointless. You are suffering now and my instillation of salt on the wounds is not nice.
