Peacelover; This is just called a shake out. The weak of heart will sell their shares cheap. Those in the know who already sold will be buying. I don't see much talk about the DEC merger..on this thread, and what little I do see don't know much. With the ALPHA CHIP and compaq's marketing skill it will make CPQ a serious contender to IBM on the high end servers , and that's were the real money is. Hold this stock, in there to four years it will be going for $100 if it don't split. You never make or loss money on any stock untill you sell it If you don't faith and a ten year outlook you should never buy the stock. I think Warren Buffet said something like that. --------------- Relax or buy more and just put you shares away for a while, CPQ has a long range plan. All this up/down is part of the show the Wall Street Bookies put on to generate turn over..as that's how they make their dough. Jim PS always buy on BAD news when blood is running in the streets, sell on good news.
