Maybe my words in the last post were a bit harsh but the company still is not on track. Two or three quarters of earnings improvement is a start, but CRUS has a long way to go.
When suddenly the guy that Hackworth lead us to believe was responsible for the plan going forward leaves, it appears there is a problem. Wall Street has a very low opinion of CRUS at the moment and this change will not improve that. I spoke with an analyst today that follows CRUS (I will keep him nameless and will not quote him), but his general comments was that he felt that this was not a good change. He would like to see changes in CRUS management. I should not be so critical, since I do not have first hand knowledge of CRUS management. But from my contacts in the industry and others, they feel that the company has been very poorly managed in recent years.
