Tim, also CNET did not indicate what settings they used for testing Digiphone. My understanding is that Digiphone works best at the highest sampling rate (like 30,000) when using an ISDN line. For a 28.8 kb modem connection, I heard that about 9k sampling rate gives the best results. I don't know how much effort the CNET folks put in to tune the Digiphone for the conditions under which they had tested it. If they have any ties with Vocaltec (which is likely), then I would expect them to do a sloppy Digiphone test and conclude what is best for the company that they support above the rest. Sam
