KAD..I like what you are saying here. Biting the bullet on the over stuffed inventory will prove to be the right thing to do. As a result the PC market will have to re-think th BTO model/just in time model. WE are seeing the chippers pushing on the boxers and the boxers pushing on the wholesalers who push on the retailers, yada yada yada. This is exactly why the DELL model will fail now. Why should these enterprises carry the risk so that DELL can have his cake delivered today and get icing tomorrow? I'm just getting started so please some thoughts. steve
