I never thought of it before, Tom. But I wonder if there is any tax advantage to either HSBC or Hang Seng to show the earnings in Hang Seng? Given that HSBC owns a fair piece of Hang Seng, giving them some profitable business would be both legal and easy to do. Hmmm? Oh well, as long as they make money, how is not important. <g> Doug
