Jeffrey Chan,
Hi!!!! Thanks so much for the post on the Dell announcement......

Quite frankly, I see this as nothing unusual......as a matter of fact I expected it to happen.....it was only a matter of time before this news on the other PC makers broke....hasn't Michael actually been predicting this in a round about way?......The others have made their attempt at BTO and in trying to keep their retailers happy have created problems....CPQ now being the first to warn they are having problems.... Michael has repeatedly referred to this challenge of others attempting to become like Dell by stating: ."we find this amusing"......Secondly, Michael has told us that in the near future "WWW.DELL.COM/.....will become universal"......IMO this last quote has a second meaning besides being their internet address....Dell IMO is becoming the universal choice in PC,s.....and as months and years pass Dell will grow even larger and more popular..easily surpassing CPQ by 2000....

More and more people are becoming aware of the benefits of Dell...".why pay for something you don't want ?" Such an incredibly inspiring question that Patrick McDaniel made to me the other night....he was referring to his purchase of his first computer back in 1994..after searching for such a long time agreeing to purchase a Dell when he found he could configure what he wanted....since that time quite a few others have come to the same conclusion ...IMO Dell will continue to grow at a surprising rate because of their reputation....a reputation that is becoming more and more the "universal language"......
Too bad I can't BUY DELL at this moment...what an opportunity.
Best, Kemble
