I had a similar situation (well, except for being down - my basis is right even w/ where it's trading currently).
I would call, getting voice mail, leaving my name and address for an investor's packet; nothing. I'd call again, get voice mail again, saying I never got the packet I requested and that I would like a call back as I had some questions re: the co.; again nothing. Finally, when I did get a person (not the main guy, but his flunky), he lied to me, saying that he sent my packet out three days ago, and he couldn't wait to get off the phone; obviously, nothing. Finally I got fed up and told the switchboard operator that I wanted the CFO's office (explaining why in the process), he actually transferred to the head of production's office, where I got his (or her) assistant, and it turns out she used to be in IR before transferring to her current position. After explaining my frustration to her, she FedEx'ed a packet and some goodies overnight.
All I can say, what goes around, comes around for those two bozo's in IR. |
