(off topic)

smart move.
Level 3's gonna come to market as a force.

basically the symbol right now is KIWT, representing
Peter Kiwit Sons D shares. C shares have been spun off tax free.
(IRS OK'ed this yesterday)
KIWT D shares will automatically become Level 3 shares when Level 3
officially goes public, which should be very soon. there is no
Level 3 symbol yet.

KIWT split 5-1 in December '97, and there's talk now that there will
be another 3-1 split, again, very soon...probably to bring the price
in line with what an IPO would trade for at the time of the offering.

KIWT has had a tremendous run from 39 to 70, just this month. without
looking it up, that's real close.

if i can borrow a phrase from my long lost sparring partner,
"this dog will hunt"...
basically it's a chance to get in on an IPO before it becomes an IPO.

there're a lot of other important things to know that you can find out
on the thread. lately the thread seems to have more credible news
on the stock, since apparently some of the new people are from Omaha.

go to the thread, and read this guy named Dog first. he seems to
know the company, or is involved with it somehow. then read, zt, he
finds news, zebraspot (insight), and of course Mark Lewin early posts,
for facts on what it's all about.

enjoy.
