John,

I don't know for sure. I do know that SUNW's revenues have almost
nothing to do with what is happening in PC-land. My working
theory about the unexpected announcements from INTC & CPQ is that
they both are suffering from the same problem: lower and lower
margins for ever-cheaper PC's and a glut of PC's on the market.

You know, it just might be possible that Intel has saturated the
home market domestically, and it just may not be growing much
anymore. In business, I would like to think that some purchasing
managers are looking at thin clients, Darwins, & sub-$1000 PC's
for new purchases, but I can't say that I know that that is the
case.
