Addi, that's the sense I get too. I believe on the last concall, Oracle hinted that maybe some of their slowdown in DB sales might be Y2k related (the problem is you can never really distinguish the excuses
from the facts).

Despite the fact that any hardware of software is Y2k compliant, there's just so much IT budget to go around and it's getting pretty
late in the game to decide you have a problem with it.

Some companies are benefiting from this, e.g. EMC I just wish I
knew how much of their business was of this transitory nature.
Much as I like Sun, I don't see them doing any damage to EMC.

So far, all the damage has been with INTC, MOT, and CPQ, but
I'm beginning to wonder whether a bad Q1 may not be more
widespread throughout the industry, especially if it's Y2k induced.
