Ken: Certain I speak for the many here by assuring you that the surfacing of lurkers here is as welcome as swallows to Capistrano, especially those bearing posts as artful, well-considered, and poignant as your most recent missive. As an added bonus, it was remarkably free from ad hominem attacks or snide, broad brush judgements. To be sure, it provided a breath of fresh air to a board lately cluttered with vituperation. My earnest wish is that more of us can take a cue from posts such as yours. Though Voltaire coun- seled that "the earth is the insane asylum of the universe," it does not follow that our collective behavior here need bear out his expressed cynicism. Meanwhile, I am sure you share the heightened sense of anticipation many of us doubtless feel as we await Brinker's verdict on the market this weekend. To wit, will Brinker declare surcease to his precisely timed prediction of a "short term correction" and the resumption of the bull run (as hinted by the markets Friday), or must we steel our- selves for additional bloodletting?
