Re: Fruit-O-The-Loom
You said: You been making bearish squeals for as long as I can remember? What significant positions do you have, anyway?
Egads, if that's how I come across then I haven't been communicating clearly.
In this specific sector -- HDD -- I'm short term bearish. For specific other computing sectors -- such as DRAM -- I'm also short term bearish. But for the PC and computing industry as a whole, in the long term, I'm one of the biggest bulls you'll ever meet. I think computing will become the world's largest industry in ten years. How's that for bullish? <G>
My significant positions at the moment are mostly obscure, money-losing micro-cap story stocks: JMAR, CVUS, SBAS and others
I do have a bit of ORCL and ADPT.
What do you like about ELNK? If you've heard all the crap that I've heard about ELNK you might be less sanguine about their long term prospects. They may be a bright crew over there, and knocking on the right doors, but it's still a fundamentally shitty business, with low switching costs, poor vendor-customer relations, and unsettled hardware standards (until recently). I did some heavy research on NETC about a year ago and concluded that the business was shit, and that the only out for them was to get bought, so I passed on it. Well, they got bought. <g>
I'm eyeballing puts on MU if it crawls back up to the 40s.
