Hello JWA, I lurk SI mosttimes, but now I have a question for more experienced investors (forgive its naivete). There is a large short interest in DRXR--880,000 shares, or 14 days to cover at average daily
volume (http://www.viwes.com/invest/shorts/query.cgi). Is the recent sharp rise in this stock due (at least partly) to shorts covering, can they seriously affect the stock price (the float is 7.7 million shares)? This stock seems to have held up decently during the bad news this week, and seems to spike up during good news, so I would really like to experience a short squeeze firsthand ;). Seriously though, the large short position could also imply that there are people, or institutions, who know something I don't know. Any information or corrections would be welcome, TIA leso.
