I respectfully disagree. I have received incentive stock options and work with many people who have. People tend to look at them more as compensation than investment. There is no risk if the stock goes down, just lost opportunity.
But with that said I have no problem with management having options. It is a good way to motivate people. But I do have a very big problem with the top management of the company having only options and having absolutely NO direct ownership in the company. This gives them absolutely no risk and all upside.
If there is a proxy fight this current management will have to do a lot of explaining and start buying some stock or I'll be strongly inclined to vote for Dr Katz.
