Agreed. Any financial reporting was done with the advice and support of outside, independent accountants. This is simply accounting for merger related charges and as I understand it, has no impact on recurring operating earnings. Changes in taxable income will change tax liabilities, but that is the only fundamental mistake. The market obviously agrees too!
