re: how can AMD afford to buy S3, they are smart enough to figure a way to get it done, the runup in S3 on Fri., has to be attributed to something. That something could be AMD. I'm an S3 investor, can someone on this board provide useful info on the possibility of an AMD/S3 alliance?
