Your statement is not true Mr. Pink. When diluted earnings are calculated, that 1 million shares will be taken out of the calculations and earnings per share will go up. No matter what you see it; It is a gift to shareholders. Earnings growth is the name of the game, and the option cancellation will boost earnings growth rate of the company. Higher earnings growth rate translates into higher share prices in the long run.
