Hi DJ. You make some good points. But also remember that market expectation is a big factor, as U know. What do we think the market was expecting here? I don't think most of us were looking for a release, just yet anyway. And in terms of expct'ns, this is what, I believe, most were hoping for -- more pipes -- at this stage. It keeps the blue-sky horizon well in view.
Bang,.. bang,.. bang, bang -- 4 more kimberlites (on top of last wk's 2 new). --Indications of new clusters. --Ongoing bulk sampling and large mini-bulk programs. --Reconnaissance drilling is continuing.
Granted, we will want to hear if the new kimb's are diamondiferous, and later stone counts, etc... Also, as you've stated, the depths may be a concern. But at this stage, a new kimberlite is a new kimb., with continued evidence of new clusters (meaning more pipes-o-plenty to discover). --Economics will be the eventual key -- grade and quality. But that's a ways away, of course.
Yesterday's announcement just heaped on more scoops of potential, imo. That's what excites me. The continuing added potential!
Now, back to your point. How will the market take this? I think as positive. I don't see a sell-off, not at this point. If anything, I believe this release offers juice to continue to prop up the s.price, with more strength on the speculative side.
But you make valid points, and I argue with none of them! As you say, this market is mighty demanding!
