Duke,
I would'nt sell puts on IDX because I really don't want anymore stock. If I was as bullish as I used to be, I would glady sell puts. In fact the June 7.5's look like a lay-up for free money. But I truly fear if we disappoint in the coming quarter, we will have a $7.00 stock.
I guess in a sick way, IDX is in better shape now, but I don't understand where the )*&%( damn #$@^#^& money is. The dreams of a $100 stock in a couple of years are dead and the next time the stock gets to the 13 or 14 range it will get there thru me. I will hold 1,000 long term, but will sell the rest because all my other investment have doubled and tripled the last few years and IDX for all intents and purposes has remained flat the last two years.
Regards,
Rob
BTW My favorite stocks right now are ORCL, PLC, CYMI and SIII. IMO if we do an apples to apples of performance in the next year, on a percentage basis these other situations will make much more money than IDX. |
