Mike: (a) seems obvious and accurate but(b) dunno,questionable ?

think the primary intent behind the sub 1K strategy was to
a): Gain market share, and
b): impose on DELL just before Christmas.

As for (b) my question is how could CPQ 'impose on DELL...' if Dell is not in the Sub 1000 market,this seems unlikely,unless I am not getting what you are saying. Possibly a clarification might be in order.
