I agree. Knowing who you're riding with makes sense. But remember, most people who invest in penny stocks are hitch-hiking, are they not?
When I lived my life as a hitch-hiker--long ago it was--there were many, many angels. And the best ride was always in a VW bus where the driver was a fun person, more than a criminal. There are many people--perhaps your broker?--who've had trouble with the law or the SEC version of the law. They continue practicing, hopefully more careful, less aggressively and more determined to make good anew.

Your attempt to muster fear can only exist if there's a continuation of no financials for a prolonged period of time, or if the financials are so bad no one wants to touch 'em.

Why not wait for a sensible evaluation. In the meanwhile, you can invest only pennies until something greater presents itself. Or not invest at all. Isn't this what it's all about?

Don't tell people where or where not to put their money. Help guide them with their decision-making by offering constructive criticisms. If you have a better place where people can put their money, say it and move on.
