...their situation was different then... It sure is. Their trade surplus has grown dramatically since the devaluation, because it made them more competitive. They are now more reliant on exports than before. China has been gradually moving toward capitalism for over 25 years. Are you saying that in the last 3 they suddenly made a quantum leap? I don't see China competing on quality in a single export market. Tom
