RE: TAVA
I agree with all that this looks like a pretty good company (in spite of the fact they have yet to show a profitable quarter)but I am not sure they are a candidate to tackle the Euro Dollar issue. The company works with computer systems on the manufacturing floor. Specifically, they provide systems for manufacturing, automation and inventory control.
If you look closely at the Coca Cola announcement, TAVA was hired to work on the computers used in the process of generating and inventorying the product.
In fact, in a Feb 98 article, the CEO was trumpeting the fact that while a lot of companies are working to solve Y2K problems in the financial and database arenas, his was the only one concentrating on the problem in the manufacturing arena.
While this company appears to have found a significant niche that may be profitable to its shareholders, they do not appear to be the type of company that would work on or be interested in the Euro Dollar problem.
A look at the chart raises a question in my mind. Does anybody know why the stock went from 2 to 7 from late June 97 to late August 97.(Geez, why weren't we looking at this stock this time last year?!)
